Very fine and important Italian viola by Enrico Rocca *1847 - 1915, Genoa 1914

One of the very few violas that Enrico Rocca built. Optically and sonically outstanding instrument from this eminent master. The viola is in almost untouched condition with an original label and the master's inscription on the bottom and on the top block. The instrument has a powerful and elegant concert tone.
