Fine French violin by Georges Chanot II *1831 — 1895, Paris 1872

The violin is in very good condition. The fine lacquer is almost completely preserved over the entire surface. The clear tone of the instrument will inspire you.

His work has received several awards. In 1878 he received a gold medal in Paris and in 1885 in London. His customers included many famous violinists such as Joachim, Piatti, Vieuxtemps and Wienawski.
