Fine English silver mounted violin bow by Thomas Tubbs *ca. 1790 - 1860, London 1850

Best octagonal T TUBBS stamped pernambuco wood rod, very nice ebony frog with silver capsule, whalebone wrap, excellent playing technique. Excellent game quality. The bow comes from Albert Cooper's famous collection, illustration ACC p205 - pl.23 volume
